About
History of Pinball Fight Club
Conceived by comissioner Arunas Ingaunis and established in the summer of 2019 within the brick walls of Logan Arcade in Chicago, Pinball Fight Club started as a rag tag group of friends thirsty for another way to compete playing their favorite indoor bar sport. The rules were different and unique to most tournament formats; a deconstruction of norms and a way to challenge players to have to think differently about the games they knew and loved so well. It's about taking the long game out of the equation and putting players on a level playing field having to conform to a set of general and game specific rules. It's about having to come up with a new strategy to decide if you want to go for points or a risky and rewarding Knockout. It's about not revealing the games until the start of the event, to be prepared only with the conventional knowledge of the game the player had come to know. It's also about teaching the player something they may not have known about the game and learning how to react more reflexively. It's about taking your game to a level that's rarely helpful or useful in common tournaments and competitions. Most importantly, it's about hanging out with your friends for pure and simple bragging rights...and some friendly and affectionate smack talking!
